When the Rain Comes

A lot of this blog’s followers may not know but I live in Manila and it’s the rainy season here. The rainy season in this part of the world usually means typhoons, which naturally mean howling winds and tons of water pouring down over your head day and night.

We’re currently in the middle of such a weather disturbance and it’s been raining cats and dogs for a few days now. There’s really nothing you can do when it gets as wet and cold as this but stay at home and wait for the downpour to stop, so I just took the time to do some practice drawing on my iPad using Tayasui Sketches. Since I’m trying to practice drawing completely from imagination and memory, I drew this one without any references. Hope you like it! 🙂

I really like this – particularly her eyebrows (I know that’s a weird thing to like, but they’re really well done!) also, happy belated birthday 😀
