“Maligayang Pasko!” is Filipino/Tagalog for “Merry Christmas!” I quickly drew this one on the iPad using the Paper app. It depicts the Filipino tradition of caroling where children visit houses in the neighborhood singing Christmas songs usually accompanied by simple, homemade musical instruments like tambourines with bottle caps and drums made from cans. To thank them for spreading the Christmas cheer, adults give them coins or candies.
And since these were drawn using the same style, I’m adding this drawing of my sister’s cat, too. Merry Christmas and a happy new year, everyone! 🙂
