Back to Using Oil Pastels: Star Wars Photo Booth Standees

We had an awesome early Halloween party in the office where our department was assigned to create a photo booth with a Star Wars theme. The photo booth committee needed my help with designing short standees featuring characters from the movies, so I chose to draw Yoda and an Ewok. These were hurriedly drawn on illustration boards and colored with Pentel Oil Pastels with limited color options. It was really fun making these though because it’s been such a long time since I last used oil pastels and it really took me back to my high school days when I joined various poster making contests (and prouldy won several of them, I might add).

Check out these snapshots I took!

BONUS:

Here’s a grainy shot of me with the standees in front of the Star Wars photo booth! My boss (a hardcore Star Wars fan) let me borrow his Darth Revan costume for the day! This is probably the coolest I’ll ever look… đŸ˜€
