Loomis Camp Continues!

So what have I been up to these past few days? Still taking Loomis’ lessons seriously, of course! I call it “Loomis Camp” because it really feels like I’m drawing under the instruction and supervision of a brilliant teacher in Andrew Loomis.

The head sketches above are a few days old actually. If you’ll remember, I’ve been drawing cartoonish heads or “Blooks” but I’ve since progressed to more realistic heads and faces. I still can’t produce high-quality heads without peeking too many times at the book (“Fun With a Pencil”) but I feel like I’m slowly getting it. It’s really exciting and I can’t wait for the weekend when I’ll have all the time in the world to continue my studies!

What about you? What’s keeping you busy? 🙂
