Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014

My expectations weren’t high when I went to watch the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie produced by Michael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman but the former name being attached to this project, nobody really saw this as other than a Michael Bay film. And we all know there’s no stigma in cinema like a Michael Bay film.

I was positively surprised that I not only enjoyed the movie, I actually loved it (I would watch it again now if I had money to spare). Is it just me? Am I just too geeky for this sort of stuff that I’m easy to please? Well, the whole cinema was laughing and kids were cheering the turtles on, so I’m quite sure I wasn’t the only one who had a great time. I absolutely loved the classic Turtles animated series when I was young, so that’s probably one reason why I found it easy to forgive or overlook most of the criticisms hurled at this film (the turtles’ lips, size, overall look, Megan Fox and Megan Fox).

Anyway, as always with movies I love–I just gotta draw some fan art. So here are Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo quickly drawn using the Paper app on my iPad:

And, yes, I hope you watch the movie, too! 🙂
